Page Two: Newfoundland Supreme Court St. Johns To wit To the Honourable the Chief Justice and Assistant Judges. The Petition of John Hennebury of Saint Johns Planter humbly sheweth that his Father the late John Hennebury of Quidi Vidi Planter died about twenty five years ago leaving his property which was of the probable value of L100 to his five sons viz this Petitioner Michael Joseph Robert and Thomas. That his will has been lost but the contents therof were in substance and effect as on the other side hereof written. That said John Hennebury left a widow since dead and next of kin the said before mentioned sons – another son named Richard by a former wife and two daughters Sarah and Ellen. That the consent of all next of kin Joseph excepted who is dead and who is represented by his only son Thomas aged about seven years and who lives with and is supported by this Petitioner is attached to these presents – Petitioner therefore prays your Lordships to grant him letters of Administration with the will annexed to the estate of his said Father.

I give devise and bequeath to my five sons John, Michael Robert Thomas and Joseph all my fishing room and premises and other the property of which I may die possessed.
