In re
the estate of
John Grant deceased. In the name of God Amen This is the last will and testament of me John Grant of St. John’s Laborer. First it is my will and desire that my executor hereinafter appointed shall first pay all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses. Second I will desire and bequeath to my daughter Agnes A. Grant my land dwelling house and premises now occupied by me situate corner Leslie & Water Street in St. John’s together with the household furniture and other effects contained therein for her sole use support and benefit and should my said daughter die unmarried then and in such case I will desire and bequeath said land dwelling house premises furniture and effects to my daughter Ellen wife of Bernard Reddick and in the event of her death then paid bequest goes to my grandson Henry Grant Thirdly I hereby appoint my said daughter Agnes executrix of this my last will hereby revoking all others that may have been made by me. Dated at St. John’s this 28th day of November A.D. 1905. John his X mark Grant Signed by the said testator as and for his last will in our presence who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereto our names subscribed as witness The said will having been first read over and explained to testator.
