Will of John Glasco

In re JOHN GLASCO. DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen I John Glasco of St. John's brickwaller being of sound and disposing mind and memory and disposition do make this my last will and testament

First I revoke and cancel all former wills made by me at any time

Secondly I will that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses be paid out of my estate

Thirdly I give and bequeath all my property of whatsoever kind consisting of all my interest in the land with double house and stable thereon situate on Water Street West, St. John's aforesaid and my interest in the house and shop now occupied by me on Water Street numbered three hundred and ninety six and any moneys standing in the Bank of Montreal St. John's either on deposit or in the Savings Bank Department and either in my own name or the joint names of myself and my wife Ann Glasco and also my horse carriage cart and all harnesses and other property pertaining to my business to my wife Ann Glasco absolutely except the horse carriage cart and all harnesses and other property pertaining to my business which shall upon the death of my said wife Ann Glasco go to my son Thomas Glasco as well also as the right of access to the said stable above mentioned and the use thereof which shall also go to my said son Thomas after the death of my said wife Ann Glasco. And I hereby nominate and appoint Thomas J. Nash Esquire of St. John's wheelwright as executor of this my last will and testament. Dated at St. John's this 23rd day of May 1901. John Glasco

signed published and declared by the said John Glasco as and for his last will and testament in our presence both present together who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. Thomas J. Nash William R. Howley.
