In re: JOHN E. DEAY. DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me, John E. Deay of Saint John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Electric Lines Foreman.

I give, devise and bequeath my dwelling house on the North Side of York Street in the town of Saint John’s together with all my household furniture and effects to my wife Alice Deay and my son Alfred A. Deay, for their use and benefit jointly during the life of my said wife.

After the death of my said wife, I give, devise and bequeath said dwelling house, household furniture and effects to my said son Alfred A. Deay absolutely, but subject to any rents and outgoings payable in respect of said dwelling house.

I give and bequeath any interest I may have in any Insurance upon my life and monies derivable therefrom to my said wife, Alice Deay.

I give, devise and bequeath all the residue and remainder of my monies, estate and effects of every description to my said wife and to my said son Alfred A. Deay in equal shares.

I appoint my said wife and my said son Alfred A. Deay, Executrix and Executor of this my Will.

Signed published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other (all present at the same time) have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
