In re: JOHN CHARLES BUTT. DECEASED
This is to certify that I John Charles Butt of St. John's Newfoundland mechanic being of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament
1st: I give and bequeath to my wife Mary Butt my house and all that it contains and all my property of every description for the remainder of her life and at her death it shall become the property of my children as follows Amelia Charlotte to have three fifths Allan one fifth and Maggie one fifth I appoint my son in Law William Henry Parsons and my friend George White of St. John's Newfoundland executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said John Charles Butt set my hand hereunto this ninth day of February one thousand nine hundred and four John Charles his x mark Butt (LS) Signed and Sealed and declared by the said John Charles Butt as and for his last will and testament in presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses William Henry Parsons (LS) George White (LS)
