In re JOHN BUTLER. DECEASED. In the name of God Amen, I John Butler of Saint John*s in the Island of Newfoundland Fisherman being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament in manner following first and principally I commend my soul to God who gave it and my body I commit to the earth to be deceantly interred and as to such worldly estate as I possess I give and dispose of as follows, that is to say I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Anistatia Butler all my right title interest and term of years yet to come in and to a certain dwelling house and premises now in my possession and in the possession of William Franton as my tenant and all issues and profits arising or accruing therefrom with the appurtenances thereof situate and being on the south side of the lane leading from McKennons Bakery in Duckworth Street in the town of Saint John*s aforesaid to Dreelans Well. Also I give and bequeath to my said wife Anistatia whatever furniture that may belong to me the same being in my house or elsewhere at the time of my decease to and for her absolute use and benefitAnd I do hereby make ordain and appoint Edward Breen and John Breen, executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former and other wills and testaments by me at any other time heretofore made. In witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament set and subscribed my hand and seal at Saint John*s aforesaid this thirtieth day of September A. D.
