In re: JOHN BURTON DECEASED
I John Burton of St. John’s Newfoundland Shipwright being of sound mind, hereby declare this to be my last will and Testament I leave all my house and furniture and whatever else I possess to my wife Grace Burton for her use and benefit during her life. And at her death both said house and furniture shall be left to my daughter Emmily Burton and to my son Thomas Burton, provided that my daughter Annie Moore widow shall have a home therein while she lives (sgd) John his x mark Burton Signed by the said Testator as his last will and testament in presence of us present at the same time who at his request and in his presence have hereunto subscribed our hands as witness (sgd) John Dudley (sgd) Nicholas Grace
