Will of John Berrigan

In re JOHN BERRIGAN: DECEASED.

I John Berrigan of St. John's Newfoundland, Tailor, do make this my last will and testament I will and bequeath all my property both real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever unto my executor hereafter named in trust for the use of my son Patrick my daughter Mary Anne wife of William Coady my daughter Teresa wife of Thomas Coady and my granddaughter Rosalie daughter of Thomas Coady in four parts share and share alike my daughters and granddaughter's shares to be held to their own sole and separate use fr ee from the claim of their husband's. Prior to the division of my property above mentioned out of my estate shall be paid my just debts and funeral expenses and a suitable headstone shall be provided to my memory I appoint Wm. Whiteway of St. John's, Barrister, executor of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this first day of April Anno Domini eighteen hundred and seventy four.
