In re the Estate
of
John Andrews (deceased) This is the last will and testament of me John Andrews of Saint John’s, Laborer. 1. I direct that all my just debts (if any) be paid out of my estate – the beneficiaries hereinafter mentioned contributing proportionately thereto. 2. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Chaplin wife of John Chaplin of St. John’s Clerk forever that piece or parcel of land or building lot situate on Quidi Vidi Road commencing at a point on said road 25 feet in a north or north-easterly direction from the lane which forms the southern boundary of my land on Quidi Vidi road and measuring both in front and rear 25 feet in width and extending toward the north or north east. 3. I give devise and bequeath to my daughters Phoebe Jane and Delphine Louise forever share and share alike all my land to the southward or south-west of the land hereinbefore firstly described also all my lands together with the dwelling house thereon to the northern or north east of that hereinbefore firstly described – also all other my lands goods property estate and effects of every description. I appoint the Reverend Henry Dunfield of Saint John’s executor of this my will Witness my hand at St. John’s aforesaid this 17th day of October Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and one.
