In re
  John Colford deceased. I John Colford in the town of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland declare this to be my last will and testament. I give and bequeath to my sister Cathrine Colford the dwelling house now in the occupancy of Mrs. Garland and her son Also all the bed and beding now in my possession to have and to hold the same unto the said Cathrine Colford and her heirs forever. I give and bequeath to my brother James Colford the house now in the occupancy of Culleton to have and to hold the same unto the said James Colford and his heirs for ever. I give and bequeath to my sister Margaret Colford the house now in the occupancy of Mr. Coleman to have and to hold the same unto the said Margaret Colford and her heirs forever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 11th day of January A.D. 1883. John his X mark Colford. Signed and declared by the above named John Colford as his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request have signed as witnesses of the same, Signed, Thomas Colford, Daniel Quigley.
