Will of James McGrath from Newfoundland will books volume 4 page 211 probate year 1882

In re
          James McGrath deceased.

In the name of God Amen     I James McGrath of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament viz I give and bequeath all and every property chattels of every description unto my dear son Timothy McGrath for ever and it is my desire and positive request that no person or persons shall interfere with my son Timothy in case of my death And further no person or persons at my request shall interfere with my son Timothy McGrath.     Signed sealed published and declared by the said James McGrath and for his last will and testament in testament in presence of us and each of us this thirtieth day of October Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three and we and each of us and in presence of each other and in presence of said James McGrath did subscribe our names as witnesses hereto (being first read over and explained)     James his X mark McGrath (LS)     M.J. O’Mara,     Patrick J. Allan.
