In re
          John Dwyer deceased.

In the name of God Amen     I John Dwyer of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Farmer being mindful of my mortality do this nineteenth day of September Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following First I give and devise unto my beloved wife Bridget Dwyer and my son James Dwyer Farmer all and every my messuages lands tenements and premises with the appurtenances situate at Freshwater near the town of St. John’s in the Island aforesaid now in my possession To have and To hold all and every the said messuages lands tenements and premises to them the said Bridget Dwyer and the said James Dwyer their heirs and assigns for ever share and share alike-     Also I give and devise to my said wife Bridget Dwyer and my said son James Dwyer all my interest in and to the unexpired term yet to come in that certain dwelling house and premises situate in Duckworth Street in the town of St. John’s aforesaid To have and to hold the same for and during the unexpired term yet to come subject nevertheless to the rent and conditions mentioned in an Indenture of lease between the late Patrick McGrath and me the said John Dwyer I also give and devise to my said son James Dwyer all and singular the whole of whatsoever farming utensils I possess for his sole use benefit and behoof or ever.     I also give and devise to my wife Bridget Dwyer and to my said son James Dwyer all and singular my household stuff and further bed and bedding to be equally divided between them and all the rest and residue of my said effects not herein contained after payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give and devise to my said wife Bridget Dwyer and my said son James Dwyer-     and I do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife and my said son executrix and executor of this my last will.     And lastly I do hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made declaring this to be my last will and testament.     In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at St. John’s aforesaid the day and year first above written.     John Dwyer (LS)     Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.     Henry Herbert Foster,     Rob.
