In re: JAMES SAGE. DECEASED
This is the last will and Testament of me James Sage of Saint John’s shop-keeper I give devise and bequeath to my beloved sister Lucy E Pike wife of Robert Pike of Roxbury Boston Mass the sum of Three hundred dollars. To His Grace Archbishop Howley the sum of forty dollars for a High Mass for the repose of my soul. To my executor hereinafter named the sum of seventy dollars for a monument and iron railing to be erected at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
The rest and residue of my Este I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Bridget Sage during her lifetime and after her death the remainder is to go to my wifes adopted daughter Annie Harris wife of William J Harris Jr. of Saint John’s accountant and in case of my the said Annie Harris predeceasing my said wife then the said remainder of my Estate is to be the property of the said Annie Harrises children I appoint John P Grace of St. John’s Executor of this my will dated at Saint Johns’ this 9th day of January A.D. 1908 James Sage Signed by the said Testator as and of his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereto signed our names as witnesses John P. Grace George T Carty.
