Will of James O’Neill

In re: JAMES O’NEIL . DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me, James O’Neill, of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland, Shoemaker. I revoke all former wills by me at any time made, and I appoint my brother Francis O’Neill, at present of Roxbury in the State of Massachusetts in the United States of America, to be the executor of this my will.

I give and bequeath to my said brother Francis O’Neill and my brother Charles O’Neill, of St. John’s aforesaid, all my property of every kind soever of which I may die possessed, including in particular my share or interest in dwelling house and premises on New Gower Street in St. John’s aforesaid and in a piece or parcel of land on the Thorburn Turnpike Road, and also the insurance on my life under the policy which I hold in the manufacturers’ Life Insurance Company: TO HOLD the same unto my said brother Francis and Charles in equal shares for their separate use.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St. John’s aforesaid this twenty-sixth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten. James O’Neil. Signed, published and declared by the testator as and for his last will and testament in presence of us, who at his request and in his presence (both being present at the same time) hereunto subscribe ourselves as witnesses attesting the due execution thereof: W.J.
