Will of James Lester

In re: JAMES LESTER. DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me James Lester of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Farmer I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Susan Lester and to my son John Lester all and singular my lands dwelling house barns and all buildings and erections thereon Also all and singular my live stock and farming implements and also whatsoever monies goods chattels and effects of every description I may die possessed of to hold the same for their joint and several use and benefit during their respective lives and on the death of either the whole of my said estate and effects shall become the absolute property of the survivor and I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife and my said son as the executors of this my said last will and testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland this 27th day of July Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and fifteen. James Lester. Signed by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who present at the same time in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses E.S. Pinsent. J.A. Clift, Solr.
