In re: JAMES GOODCHILD. DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me, James Goodchild, of Topsail Newfoundland, and formerly of Bath, Somerset England.

I give and bequeath to my adopted niece Mrs Marian Faulkner, nee Lambert, of 34 Upper Lewes Road, Brighton Sussex, or Handsworth near Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00) for her own use and benefit. The residue of my personal estate, after all the unavoidable expenses are paid therefrom.

I leave to my dear wife Ann Goodchild for her sole use and benefit, and I appoint the Reverend Arthur Pittman of Topsail executor of this my will, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty four.
