The last will of James Crockwell
late of Bay Bulls, Planter, deceased.
The last will of James Crockwell I leave to my son Patrick Crockwell the piece of ground between Patrick Maloney and John Williams on the south side of main road on which his house now stands to neither let mortge or sell. My house stable and yard I leave to my son John Crockwell My bed and chest of drawers to my son James Crockwell I leave to my son John Crockwell the old cow I will leave to my son Patrick Crockwell my big red hefier I leave to my daughter Nora Crockwell the white hefier and my son James the remaining hefiers. The horse and wheeled vehicles with catamarans to be used equally between my three sons. From (?)ken Pit on the lane leading to my house by the Main Road side to a tree in the meadow about one hundred and thirty feet more or less then up the hill for about the same distance across on the back of James Crockwell's ??? down to about half the tansy bed one hundred and thirty feet more or less to the well about the centre of the back of his house to the aspen tree thence to a large rock by the slide path.
The remainder of the said meadow belongs to my son James Crockwell. From John Williams ground on South Side of Main road to a drain in the meadow on a line to the bridge of the flake I leave to my son John Crockwell. I leave to my son James Crockwell from John Crockwell's boundary the meadow land on the edge of bank over to the back of the upper store. All my fishing property skiffs and dories trap & moorings and anchors, nets and seines with stage flakes and store to be equally used between my three sons. The things in the store to my son James Crockwell and the board if not wanted for fishing purposes. I leave to my Daughter Nora Crockwell two hundred dollars The remainder of my money after my funeral expenses to be equally divided between my three sons. The ground on each side of my garden road to be equally divided between my three sons. James his X mark Crockwell - John Williams. Jno H. Williams
