In re: JAMES CLIFFORD. DECEASED.
This is the last will and Testament of me James Clifford of Saint John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Carpenter
First I desire that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses shall be first paid
Second I give devise and bequeath all my property estate and effects of every description to my wife Ann Clifford for her sole and absolute use and benefit forever
Third I appoint my said wife sole Executrix of this my will.
Witness my hand at Saint John’s this Eighteenth day of May Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight James his X mark Clifford Signed Published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witness (the said will having been first read over and explained to the Testator) D Morison Thomas G.
