IN RE: JAMES ALFRED TUCKER. DECEASED
This is the last Will and Testament of me James Alfred Tucker of Saint Philips in the District of Saint John's West in the Dominion of Newfoundland made this twenty Sixth day of April in the year of Our Lord One thousand nine hundred and twenty four. I hereby revoke all wills made by me at any time heretofore. I appoint Lenna A Tucker my wife to be my Executrix; and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as may be after my decease. I give devise and bequeath unto my sister Ethel May Tucker a portion of my property of the same width and immediately to the rear of that she now holds, said portion to extend back from her present rear boundary to the full extent of two chains. The remaining portion of my property consisting of that whereon I now reside, and which includes, also a small piece situate between the Thorburn Road and the River immediately across from my present residence, together with about eleven acres of woodland immediately to the rear of that whereon I now reside, also my portion of that piece of land known as the "Dock" situate on the Eastern side of St Philip's Pond, also my dwelling house, my household furniture and all other properties goods and chattels whatsoever and wheresoever of which I may die possessed or be entitled to I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Lenna A. Tucker and to my two daughters Myrtle and May; and I desire that the whole of this my property, just described, shall be held in trust by my wife until such time as my two children aforesaid shall have come to the full age of womanhood at which time the whole of this property or whatever portion may then remain of it, shall be equally divided between them namely one third of it to my wife, and one third to each of my two children. In the meantime, should she deem it necessary in order to decently support and maintain these my two children, then my wife shall have full power and lawful and absolute authority to sell and dispose of this property or of any portion thereof for that purpose.
