This is the Last Will and Testament of me, Catherine Henderson of Saint John’s, Widow.
First I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Loughlan Six shares in the Union Bank of Newfoundland. Second I give and devise to my said daughter Elizabeth Loughlan the cottage situate in the town of Harbour Grace and lately in the occupancy of one Wilson and also the House situate on Water Street in the Town of Harbour Grace aforesaid and at present in the occupancy of one Richard Lakey together with all gardens lands and appurtenances to the said cottage and house belonging or appertaining. Third I give and devise all other my lands and houses situate in Harbour Grace aforesaid to my sons James Hector Henderson and John Henderson as tenants in common. Fourth I give and bequeath to the Reverend Charles O’Neill of Saint John’s the sum of Twenty dollars and I will and direct that a further sum of Twenty dollars be paid to the said Charles O’Neill for masses for the repose of my soul. I hereby revoke and annul all former and other wills and testamentary dispositions by me at any time made or executed and declare this to be my last will and testament. I appoint my said son John Henderson Executor of this will. Witness my hand at St. John’s this 25th day of February, A.D. 1893.
