Will of George Hutchings

In re: GEORGE A. HUTCHINGS DECEASED.

I, George A. Hutchings, of St. John's, Merchant, hereby revoke all former Wills and Codicils made by me, and declare that this is my last will.

FIRST. I appoint the Hon. W. C. Job and Harold Varole Hutchings, both of St. John's, to be Executors and trustees of this my will.

SECOND. I devise and bequeath all my estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my trustees upon trust to sell, call in and convert the same into money (with power at their discretion to postpone such sale, calling in and conversion when they think proper), and after payment of my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and legacies to invest the residue of such money in any of the investments authorised by law for the investment of trust funds, and to stand possessed of such investments and of all portions of my estate for the time being unconverted, upon the following trusts.
(A) To pay the income to my wife Elizabeth Sybella Hutchings during the term of her natural life.
(B) After the decease of my said wife to pay the said income to my daughters Clara Sydney Tessier Hutchings and Isabel Edith Hutchings share and share alike during their lifetime, and while they remain unmarried, and wholly to the survivor of them while she remains unmarried
(C) After the death of my said Wife and after the death or marriage of both my daughters to divide my estate share and share alike between all my children then surviving.

In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 19th day of March A.D. 1914. Geo. A. Hutchings Signed by the above named George A. Hutchings as his last will in the joint presence of himself and us, who, at his request and in such joint presence, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Hugh Avercrombie Anderson Alfred B. Morine

This is a codicil to the foregoing will.
FIRST: I appoint Robert B. Job to be one of the Executors and trustees of my will in place of the Hon. W.C. Job who has left Newfoundland.
SECOND: In the event of the final distribution of my estate children of deceased children shall take their parents share.
