Will of George Churchill

In re: GEORGE CHURCHILL. DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me, George Churchill of Quidi Vidi, in the Electoral District of St. John’s East, in the Island of Newfoundland, Fisherman.

I revoke all former Wills by me at any time made, and I appoint my daughter, Minnie McNichol, the Executrix of this my Will.

I give and bequeath one half of all the property of whatsoever kind I may die possessed to my said daughter, Minnie, for her own use absolutely, and I give and bequeath the remaining one half of all of my property to my son, Walter and my daughter, Lizzie, in equal shares between them.

WITNESS my hand at St. John’s aforesaid this first day of May, A.D. 1922. GEORGE CHURCHILL.

Signed, published and declared by the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, both being present at the same time, who in his presence, and at his request hereunto subscribe ourselves as witnesses attesting the due execution hereof.
