Last Will and Testament of Frederick
Cornick of St. John’s Mason deceased This is the last will and testament of me Frederick Cornick of St. John’s Mason. I hereby revoke all former wills by me made. I give devise and bequeath unto my son Henry John Cornick all my leasehold interest in and to the dwelling house at present occupied by me situate in William Street in the Town of St. John’s aforesaid and I also give devise and bequeath unto my said son Henry John all my Household furniture goods chattels things of every description of which I may die possessed except what is hereinafter bequeathed by me. I also provided that my wife Mary Jane shall live in the said dwelling house so long as she remains a widow. I give devise and bequeath unto my grandson James Mann Martin my silver watch and chain. I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Mary Jane and to my son Silvester William and to my daughter Alice all moneys which I may die possessed of share and share alike and I appoint my said son Henry John Cornick sole Executor of this my last will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this nineteenth day of October anno domini one thousand nine hundred and one. (Sgd.) Frederick Cornick.
