Francis A. McDougall deceased. This the last will and testament of me Francis Allan McDougall of Saint John’s in the Island of Newfoundland- After payment of my funeral expenses I desire that the balance of proceeds of Policy of Insurance from (Globe Life Insurance Co.) be paid over to Boyd & McDougall and retained by them till such time as the Mortgage from Francis McDougall in the property known as Trysdens Estate in favour of Thomas Boyd is cancelled or paid off- Immediately after said mortgage is paid off or cancelled it is my wish that the following divisions should be made and paid to the undermentioned persons, My beloved father Francis McDougall £50 cy “ ” brother John “ 50 “ ” “ Alexander “ 50 “ Edwin B. “ 200 sister Sarah C. “ 40 “ Jessie “ 20 “ Isabella 10 “ Ellen B. 10 £430 cy I bequeath to my beloved brother Wm D. McDougall my watch, chain and double barrel gun I wish the remainder of my property personal and otherwise to be equally divided between my brothers John Alexander and Edwin Bennett McDougall I wish and appoint my brothers Alexander and Edwin or the survivor of them executors of this my will As witness my hand this third day of February A.D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine.
