In re: ELLEN BALDWIN. DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen I Ellen Baldwin of St. John’s do make publish and declare this as and for my last will and testament.

First I will and direct that my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses be paid as soon as possible after my death

Secondly I give devise and bequeath to the Allen Society at St. John’s the sum of ten dollars and to the Convent Of Mercy Military road the sum of ten dollars

Thirdly I give my watch and chain to my niece Katie Murphy. I also give my fur lined cloak to my niece Miss. Murphy my broach to my niece Mrs. Kennedy to my niece Nellie O’Dea I give my shamrock set in gold.

Fourthly to my son Rev. P.M. O’Connor, I give the gold ring with my son John’s initials on it and my stick pin with my daughters initials on it also I will and direct that my said son Rev. P. M. O’Connor sell the furniture in the house in which I live and I give him the proceeds thereof for his own use. I also give him the proceeds of the sale of the goods in the shop and I give him also any moneys that may be left after paying my funeral expenses and debts.

Fifthly I will and direct that my said son Rev. P.M. O’Connor pay to my husband Joseph Baldwin the sum of twenty dollars a year during his life time so long as he shall have sufficient money from my estate to pay the same Lastly all the rest residue and remainder of my property I give to my said son Rev. P.M. O’Connor and I hereby appoint my said son Rev. P.M. O’Connor to be the executor of this my will I give my land claim to Bride O’Dea

Signed published and declared as his(?) last will and testament in our presence who in her presence & in presence of each other have hereto subscribed our hands as witnesses this 8th day of January 1906 having been first read over and explained to the said testatrix in our presence
