Will of Elizabeth Leo

In re: ELIZABETH LEO. DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Leo of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Spinster.

I revoke all former wills by me at any time made and I appoint the Catholic Archbishop of St. Johns’ for the time being the Executor of this my Will.

I direct that my debts and my funeral and testamentary expenses shall first be paid out of my Estate, and I direct my said Executor to expend at his discretion the sum of Fifty Dollars for low Masses for the repose of my soul.

All the rest, residue, and remainder of my property I give and bequeath to the Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of St. John’s for the uses and purposes of the said Corporation.

WITNESS my hand at St. John’s aforesaid this twenty fourth day of August A.D. Nineteen sixteen.

Signed, Published and declared by the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in presence of us, both being present at the same time, who in her presence and at her request hereunto subscribe ourselves as witnesses attesting the due execution hereof.
