Will of Edward Walsh

In re: EDWARD WALSH DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Walsh of Old Portugal Cove Road, St. John's. After payment of my testamentary and funeral expenses I will devise and bequeath my farm on which I am now living comprising Dwelling House and Barn and about five acres of land situate in the lane off of the Old Portugal Cove Road and bounded North by the Lane and all other sides by land of William Campbell, to Michael Walsh, son of John Walsh, with whom I am now living, to hold to said Michael Walsh for ever. And I will devise and bequeath the piece of land comprising wooded and other land of about thirty acres more or less situate on the East side of the Old Portugal Cove Road, and about two miles from the town of St. John's, to the said John Walsh, to hold to him for ever. All the rest residue and remainder of my estate lands chattles and effects I will devise and bequeath to the said John Walsh to hold to him for ever And I appoint the said John Walsh (now living with me and looking after me) to be Executor of this my will. As witness my hand at St. John's this 21st day of February A.D. Nineteen hundred and twenty one Edward his X mark Walsh
