In re Edward Nowlan deceased. In the name of God Amen. I Edward Nowlan of Bay Bulls Fisherman being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say- I desire that my executor hereinafter named shall pay all my just debts and funeral expenses out of my estate- I will devise and bequeath unto my granddaughter Mary Laughlin all my right title and interest in and to the land which I now occupy with the dwelling and outhouses thereon and also all my live stock and farming utensils to her sole and exclusive use and benefit free of the control of any husband she may marry. I will and bequeath to the Very Reverend Patrick Cleary one cow and I desire that he will celebrate Masses for the good of my soul. I appoint William Getheral Williams my executor to carry this my last will and testament into effect and I hereby revoke annul and cancel all other wills made by me.
