Will of Edward Gaul

IN RE:   EDWARD GAUL    DECEASED

In the name of God, Amen. This is the last will and testament of me Edward Gaul, of Topsail Road, in the electoral district of St. John's West, Farmer.

First. It is my will and desire that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be first paid.

Secondly. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary, wife of Michael Aylward, all my farm and lands, with the dwelling house, barn, outhouses and all other erections thereon and the appurtenance; also the furniture in the said house, and all farming utensils in connection with the said farm for her sole use and benefit, to be disposed of by her at her death or otherwise as she may think best.

Lastly. I hereby appoint my friend John Holden executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other and former wills that may have been made by me. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John's this eighth day of August A.D. 1911 Edward his x mark Gaul. Signed by the said testator as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us, who, in his presence, at his request, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto our names subscribed as witnesses Having been first read over and explained John Holden F. J. Morris
