In re: EDWARD BRENNAN DECEASED
In the Name of God, amen. This is the last will and testament of me, Edward Brennan, of Topsail Road, in the district of St. John’s west farmer.
First, it is my will and desire that my executor, hereinafter appointed, shall first pay all my just debts, funeral, and other expenses.
Secondly. I will, devise and bequeath to my son Jeremiah Brennan all my property and estate of whatsoever description or kind I may die possessed of, consisting of cattle, cows, horses, and farmstock, and household furniture; also all moneys, whether in the bank or in the house at the time of my death, save and except the sum of forty dollars, which I will and bequeath to my daughter Mary, wife of Lawrence O’Neill which said sum my executor shall pay over to her.
Thirdly, it is my will and desire that my said son Jeremiah shall give his brother, Thomas Brennan, a home with him during his life if he requires same.
Fourthly, I hereby appoint my friend, Thomas Fitzgibbon, executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other and former wills that may have been made by me.
