IN RE: DONALD MACRAE DECEASED This is a Codicil to the last will and testament of me, Donald MacRae, of the City of Saint John in the City and County of Saint John, Clergyman, bearing date the twenty eighth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six. In case my daughter Violet D. MacRae survive me and is at the time of my death unmarried, it is my will and desire that the division of my estate by the third paragraph of said will and testament be postponed until the marriage or death of my said daughter Violet D. MacRae whichever may first happen and that in the meantime my executors named in said last will and testament shall hold the moneys and securities for money in said paragraph mentioned unimpaired, upon trust to pay the entire income arising therefrom to my said daughter Violet D. MacRae, while she shall live and remain unmarried and upon the death or marriage of my daughter Violet D. MacRae, it is my will and desire that the provisions of my said will shall come into effect, and that in the case of the death of my said daughter Violet D. MacRae, unmarried, the moneys provided to be paid to her under said will shall go to such persons or persons as she by will shall appoint, and in case she failed to make any such appointment one half of said share shall go to my daughter, Silla I. Campbell or in case of her previous death to her daughter Mary Campbell, if living and in case her said daughter be not living to the surviving children of my said daughter Silla I. Campbell, share and share alike. And one-half of said share to the daughters of my deceased daughter Elizabeth J. C. McKenzie In all other respects I do confirm my said will In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at the City of Saint John in the City and County of Saint John, in the Province of New Brunswick this eighteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight (sgd) Donald MacRae (LS) Signed Sealed Published and Declared as and for his last will and Testament by the above named testator Donald MacRae in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, all three being together at the one time have hereunto subscribed our hands as witnesses. The half of all I possess at the time of my decease I hereby bequeath and will to my daughter Violet D. MacRae. I bequeath this half of my money and effects being in my ordinary health and in full possession of all my faculties, By the expression "I possess", I mean all my money and effects of every description. This codicil alters and changes to this extent any will or codicil I may have made heretofore. All books which I have already disposed of are not to be considered as part of my effects. (Sgd) D.
