In re Denis Walsh deceased. In the name of God Amen, in the year of Lord one thousand eight hundred & sixty one- I Denis Walsh of Topsail Road Farmer being very weak and sick of health but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to the Omnipotent God for it Know this to be my last will and testament- I bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth and Patrick Walsh all my property on the west side of the Topsail Road including stock and farming utensils and also that she shall be guardian over her children while she lives And I also bequeath unto my son Denis Walsh the farm cawled Quinns farm amounting to twenty five acres that is when he comes to the age of twenty one and in consideration thereof he is to pay unto his brother James the sum of ten pounds curry And I also bequeath unto my son John- the farm to the north east of the Topsail Road containing twenty five acres that is when he comes to the age of twenty one years And I also bequeath unto my son James the farm cawled Flemings farm bounded by Martin Leaden and in consideration thereof my son Denis Walsh is to pay the said James the sum of ten pounds curry of good and lawful money And I do hereby utterly disalow revoke and disannul all and every other testaments wills and legacies before named In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written- Denis Walsh Signed sealed published and declared by the said Denis Walsh as his last will and testament the presence of us subscribing witness Simon his X mark Breen, Josef his X mark Long Patrick Dealy.
