Will of Clement Hudson

IN RE:   CLEMENT HUDSON.    DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen. This is the last will and testament of me Clement Hudson of Pouch Cove Newfoundland. I hereby leave to my son Thomas Hudson the sum of four pounds cy also my son Matthew Hudson the sum of four pounds cy To my daughter Caroline Sullivan the sum of three pounds cy To my daughter Jane Mundy the sum of three pounds cy To my daughters Claudia Evans the sum of three pounds cy To my daughter Mary Agnes Churchill the sum of three pounds cy.

The remainder of the money belonging to me (the above Clement Hudson) in the Union Bank of Newfoundland I hereby leave to my son Clement Hudson who is to pay out of it my funeral expenses All my other property to remain as hitherto divided. Written on this eleventh day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven. Signed by me Clement his X mark Hudson. Witnesses, Reuben Pippy, George Paine.
