Will of Charles Petrie

In re: CHARLES PETRIE . DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me Charles Petrie of St. John’s Blacksmith- I give devise and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Petrie all and whatsoever money chattels and effects that I may die possessed of whether the said money be payable to me under any Life Insurance policy that I now hold or otherwise whatsoever together with all my right title and interest in and to the dwelling house and land now in my occupancy to hold the same in her own right absolutely to be disposed of as she may deem best

And I appoint my said wife Elizabeth Petrie to be the sole executrix under this my last will and testament

In witness whereof I the said Charles Petrie have hereunto set my hand this fifteenth day of May Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and ninety one Charles Petrie Signed by the said testator in the presence of us who being present at the same time in the presence of the said testator and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses- J. Augustus Clift, Solr. Frederick Grant.
