Newfoundland will books volume 10 page 465 probate year 1916. This name is spelled Catherine and Catrin in the will and Catherine in the will index. There are two Catherine Rodgers wills, they were probated together, and refer to the same real estate etc. I presume they were mother and daughter.

In the name of God Amen the second day of July one thousand eight hundred and ninety two
I Catrin Rodgers of Torbay in the central district of the Island of Newfoundland Framed being very sick and weake of boddy but of perfect mind and memorey tanks be giveing unto God do make and publish this my last will and testament that is to say I give and bequate to my dear beloved dauter Catrin Rodgers my dweling house and furenture an oute houses my horse an cows and all the ground on the sout side of evenses path road cleared and uncleared and half the ground cleared and uncleared on the north side of evenses path road and I do hereby utterley disallow revedk and disanule all and every other former testaments wills legacies bequets and executors by me in any ways before naimed willed and beqeated ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament
