In re: CATHERINE CUDDIHY. DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen. This is the last will and testament of me Catherine Cuddihy of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland widow of the late Michael Cuddihy.
Firstly I desire that my executor hereinafter appointed shall pay all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses.

Secondly I give devise and bequeath to my son Michael Cuddihy the sum of six hundred dollars to be paid him by my executor after my death.

Thirdly I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Cuddihy the sum of six hundred dollars to be paid her by my executor after my death. Also to my said daughter Mary I give and devise all the stock-in-trade in the shop and premises now in the dwelling house occupied by me together with all the household furniture and everything contained therein save and except my son Michael's bed which is to be his. Also to my said daughter Mary I devise and bequeath the leasehold interest now held by me in those three dwelling houses situate in the street or lane known as Frank Lane.

Fourthly. I bequeath to the children of Richard Colford by his wife Ann the house situate on the south side of New Gower Street St. John's now occupied by them share and share alike.

Fifthly I give and bequeath to my son John Cuddihy the sum of two hundred and forty dollars and to his children Michael and Margaret Cuddihy the sum of thirty dollars each.

Sixthly to my daughter Catherine Holland I bequeath the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars.

Seventhly to my four grandchildren Ellen Catherine Bridget and George Colford I give and bequeath the sum of thirty dollars each and to my grandson Michael Colford the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars.

Eighthly I leave the sum of twenty dollars to my executors for masses for my soul.

Ninthly all the rest and residue of my estate that is after my executor shall have paid all legacies herein set forth and after payment of all just debts costs and expenses that may be necessarily incurred in the settlement of my estate I give and bequeath to my son Michael and my daughter Mary share and share alike. I hereby revoke all other or former wills that may have been made by me.
Lastly I hereby appoint Michael O'Regan of St. John's butcher to be my executor of this my last will and testament.
