In re: CATHERINE COOPER. DECEASED
This is the last will and Testament of me Catherine Cooper, of St. John’s, widow, hereby revoking all other and former wills by me at any time made. After the payment of all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, I give, devise and bequeath as follows:-
(1) To my daughter Mary, the upstairs portion of the house in which I now reside, together with half the ground in the rear of said house. (2) To my daughter Catherine, and my Granddaughter Margaret, the downstairs portion of the said dwelling house in which I now reside, together with half the ground in the rear of said dwelling house. (3) The land upon which my said dwelling house is erected shall be held by my said daughters Mary and Catherine and my said Granddaughter Margaret as tenants in common (4) To my Granddaughter Margaret the land and premises leased by me to Thomas Power, together with the rents, issues and profits arising or growing out of the same. (5) To my daughter Catherine, my bed. (6) To my Granddaughter Margaret, my bedstead and the remainder of my household furniture.
I appoint my said daughter Catherine, Executrix of this my will. St. John’s January 17th A.D. 1907 Catherine her X mark Cooper Signed, Published and Declared by the said Testator as and for her last will and Testament, in the presence of us, who in her presence, at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses The same having been first read over and explained John Anthony M. P. Gibbs
