In re: CATHERINE BRIDGE. DECEASED.
This is the last will and testament of me Catherine Bridge of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Widow
First:- I devise and bequeath unto my children Maurice, Mary and Theresa, and my grandchildren, that is to say, the children of my deceased daughter Harriet Walker, all that piece or parcel of land with dwelling house and other erections thereon situate on New Gower Street in the town of St. John’s aforesaid, in four equal shares, the children of my deceased daughter Harriet Walker taking one share between them,
Secondly:- I devise and bequeath unto my daughter Theresa all that piece or parcel of land situate on the Bay Bulls Road about six miles from the town of St. John’s aforesaid I hereby appoint Everett Wills of St. John’s aforesaid executor of this my last will and testament, I hereby revoke all testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me. In witness whereof I have hereunto my hand subscribed by making my mark at St. John’s aforesaid this 15th day of September A.D. 1906. Catherine her X mark Bridge Signed by the said testatrix as and for her last will and testament by making her mark in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the words “by making my mark” having been first inserted J.J. This is a codicil to the last will and testament of me Catherine Bridge, dated the 15th day September 1906. I give and bequeath unto my grandchild Catherine daughter of my deceased daughter Harriet Walker my piano on her attaining the age of ten years. September 15th 1906.
