In re: BRIDGET EBBS DECEASED.
In tHe of God Amen. I Bridget Ebbs of St. JoHn's married woman do make publish and declare this as and for my last Will and Testament.
First I will and direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid as soon as possible after my decease.
Secondly I give devise and bequeath all my farm land and premises including my interest in that portion of my fathers farm which was bequeathed by him to my sister Kate, together with the dwelling houses and other erections thereon and all Cattle and farm stock farming implements and tool household furniture good and effects and all other property of which I may die possessed to my husband to have hold use and enjoy the same during the term of his natural life and after his death to the Roman Catholic Bishop of St. John's in trust for the Industrial School of Mount Cashel - the said Bishop to say or cause to be said at least six masses every year for the repose of the souls of myself and my husband my father and mother and my uncle Martin Walsh and all other members of my family and I further request that the Orphans and the Christian Brothers may remember me and my family in their prayers and take care of our grave plots It is my wish that the cattle farm stock and other moveable property above described shall be the property of my husband absolutely to be disposed of by him as he wishes
Lastly I nominate and appoint William J. Carroll of St. John's Deputy Sheriff to be the Executor of this my will, and revoke and declare void all other or former wills made by me.
