Will of Bridget Coady

In re: BRIDGET COADY. DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Bridget Coady of Saint John’s Widow.

1. I appoint my son Thomas F. Coady of Saint John’s Theatre Proprietor Executor of this my will.

2. Subject to the direction hereinafter contained I give devise and bequeath all my property, estate and effects of every description to my said son Thomas F. Coady.

3. I direct my said Executor to expend the sum of Two Hundred Dollars in Masses for the repose of my soul and of the soul of my late husband Thomas Coady.
Witness my hand at Saint John’s aforesaid this Thirteenth day of June Anno Domini One thousand nine hundred and twenty three.

Signed (by making her mark) Published and declared by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other (all present at the same time) have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses, the same having been first read over and explained to the testatrix and approved of by her.
