Will of Bridget Boland

IN RE:   BRIDGET BOLAND.    DECEASED

This is the last will and testament of me, Bridget Boland of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Widow made at St. John's the fifth day of February A D 1925

I hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made

I appoint Rev. Robert A St. John to be the executor of this my will

I give devise and bequeath the following legacies:
  • to Rev. R A St. John aforesaid one hundred dollars,
  • to Rev. John Savin two hundred dollars,
  • to my sister Mrs Mary Ann Prowse one hundred and fifty dollars,
  • to Anthony Berls my late husband's watch and chain
  • to Miss Julia McLoughlan my watch and chain and the sum of fifty dollars.

I give devise and bequeath my house on Battery Road, St. John's to Belvidere Orphanage, St. John's

I direct my executor to expend the rest residue and remainder of my estate for Masses for the repose of my soul.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name to this my will the day and year first above written

Signed published and declared by the above named Bridget Boland as and for her last will and testament in our presence both being present at the same time who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
