IN RE: BERNARD GOOBY. DECEASED
This is the last will and Testament of me Bernard Gooby of St. John's Labourer I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Anne wife of Augustus Johns Master Mariner the sum of Fifty Dollars to her sole and separate use and behoof.
2. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Jane wife of John Pinsent Engineer the sum of Fifty Dollars to her sole and separate use and behoof.
3. I give devise and bequeath to my son Andrew Gooby of His Majesty's Customs the sum of Fifty Dollars
4. All the rest residue and remainder of my Estate real and personal I give devise and bequeath to my son William Pearl Gooby of St. John's aforesaid Clerk in the employment of Steer Brothers and I charge this portion of my Estate with all my debts and all my funeral and testamentary expenses.
5 I appoint my said son William Pearl Gooby to be the sole Executor of this my Last will. Witness my hand this 7th day of December A.D. 1908. Bernard his x mark Gooby Signed published and declared by the said Testator as his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in the presence of the Testator and of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto the same having been first read over and explained to the said Testator in the presence of us and the said Testator appearing fully to understand the same and in our presence affixing his mark thereto Charles Hackett Alex. J. W. McNeily
