Will of Arthur Hiscock

IN RE:   ARTHUR HISCOCK.    DECEASED

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me, Arthur Hiscock, of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Manufacturer's Agent. I revoke all former wills by me at any time made, and I appoint my wife Josephine and Cornelius P. Eagan, of St. John's, Grocer, to be the Executors of this my will. I give and bequeath my leasehold property on Long's Hill where I at present reside, together with the furniture therein (save as hereinafter provided as regards two rooms and as to the piano) to my said wife for her own use absolutely.

I give and bequeath the piano in the said house and the contents of the two bedrooms on the top flat thereof to my daughter Maud. I give and bequeath out of any money that may be due my estate by reason of my life insurance the sum of One thousand dollars to my said daughter Maud, the sum of One thousand dollars to my daughter Helen, and the remainder to my said wife:
Provided that any amount due by me for which any of my policies of insurance shall be held as security shall be paid out of the balance which is here bequeathed to my said wife. The residue of my estate I give and bequeath to my said wife.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St. John's this Thirtieth day of January in the year of Our Lord One thousand Nine Hundred and twenty-two.
