IN RE: ANN MANUEL. DECEASED
This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Manuel of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland Spinster.
I give and bequeath to Bertha Tessier of St. John's aforesaid wife of Charles W. H. Tessier all my leasehold interest in the Dwelling House land and premises situate in John Street in St. John's aforesaid now in my occupancy and held by me under lease from Casey's Estate TO HOLD the same to the said Bertha Tessier her Executors & Administrators or Assigns to her sole and separate use for the residue of the unexpired term of the said lease; Should the said Bertha Tessier die before me I give devise and bequeath the same to the said Charles W. H. Tessier in trust for the children of him the said Charles and her the said Bertha. And I charge the said bequest with the payment or extinguishment of any debt which at the time of my decease may be due by me to either of the said devisees. And I appint the said Charles and the said Bertha Executors of this my will. Witness my hand at St. John's aforesaid this 24th day of June Anno Domini One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Eight. Signed published and declared by the said Ann Manuel as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.
