In re ANNE PEARL. DECEASED. Know all men by these presents that I Anne Lady Pearl being of sound and disposing mind and memory considering the dangers of the sea, make publish and declare this my last will and testament concerning my worldly estate. I give bequeath and dispose thereof as follows, certain portion of my landed property situated in the Island of Newfoundland that portion of my property named Mount Pearl at present rented and occupied by John Lester who has a lease of the same for fourteen years dated from November 1841 the first seven years the rent is stipulated in the lease at £40 a year for the last half term to be £80 a year consisting of four hundred acres of land and buildings thereon I do give devise and bequeath the same unto my respected friends Eliza Bulley, Selina Emma Wix Saunders to their heirs and assigns for ever but the said property never to be sold but the rent accruing from the same to be equally divided between the said Eliza Bulley and Selina Emma Wix Saunders their heirs and assigns for ever. To Robert R. W. Lilly I do give and bequeath my property situated at Shoal Bay in the Island of Newfoundland namely the copper mine together with one hundred acres of land his heirs and assigns for ever, to my old servant John Lester I bequeath that part of Mount Pearl which I advertised in the Morning Post containing one hundred acres of land and to his heirs for ever but the same never to be sold by him nor his heirs the tract of land is bounded on one side by the North River and on the south by a small rivulet to extend to the east and west boundaries of Mount Pearl it is my express will and desire that the said tract of land shall be for ever called upon his taking possession of the same Anna Vale I also give him the instalment of £24.5 due me in November 55 And I do hereby nominate and appoint Captain Richard Saunders of the Royal Newfoundland Company and Mr. Robert R. W. Lilly executors of this my last will and testament.In witness whereof to this my said will I have set my hand and seal this twelfth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four and in the eighth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lady Queen Victoria.
