In re
In the name of God Amen. I Ann Allward widow of St. John’s Newfoundland do by these my last will and testament devise and bequeath all monies I have now in the Savings Bank of St. John’s aforesaid in my name and all monies I may be possessed of at the time of my decease together with all my interest in the dwelling house in which I at present reside First deducting my funeral and other expences unto my four children, viz Charles Allward, John Allward, Mary Ann Seymour and Sarah Ann Allward, to be equally divided and shared between them In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord 1864 at St. John’s aforesaid, Ann her X mark Allward (LS) Signed sealed and delivered as the last will and testament of the said Ann Allward in the presence of William Heale, Henry W. Seymour.
