In re: ANDREW MEARNS. DECEASED I hereby give and bequeath to my wife Ann Mearns all my property money and effects together with the House I now occupy and Captain Taylor the tenant adjoining for the use and benefit of herself and children as long as she lives and remains unmarried, but should she after my decease marry then all my said property monies and effects. Houses and everythg I am possessed of shall go and be given to the children of the said Ann Mearns by me for their sole use and benefit I hereby appoint my said wife Ann Mearns executrix of this my last will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Andrew Mearns have hereunto affixed my hand and seal at St. John’s Newfoundland this Thirtieth day of April A.D. one thousand eight hundred and sixty three Andrew Mearns Signed sealed published and declared by the said Andrew Mearns in presence of A.
