Will of Anastatia Walsh

IN RE:   ANASTATIA WALSH.    DECEASED

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me, Anastatia Walsh, of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Widow, I revoke all former wills by me at any time made and I appoint my son John Walsh, the Executor of this my will. I give and bequeath that portion of my fee simple property on Quidi Vidi Road on which is built the house in which I now live, together with the said house and the land around it and the furniture therein to my daughter Elizabeth Foley for her own use absolutely.

I give and bequeath that portion of my fee simple property on quidi Vidi Road with the dwelling house thereon now occupied by one Harris together with the said house and the land around it to my said son John for his own use absolutely.

I give and bequeath the leasehold property on Signal Hill Road including the house which is now partially occupied by my said son John to my said son John for his own use absolutely.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Maud Malone the sum of eight hundred dollars. I will and direct that my Executor shall apply the sum of fifty dollars for masses for the repose of the souls of my late husband and of myself. I give and bequeath the balance of my money to my said son John and my said daughter Elizabeth Foley in equal shares between them.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St. John's aforesaid, this twenty-second day of September, A.D. 1919.

Signed, Published and Declared by the Testatrix as and for her last will and testament in presence of us (both being present at the same time) who at her request and in her presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses (the said will having been first read over and explained to the said testatrix who appeared perfectly to understand the same by making her mark thereto in our presence).
