In re ALICE MADDIGAN. DECEASED.
This is the last will and testament of me Alice Madigan of St. John's widow hereby revoking all other and former wills by me at any time made after the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give devise and bequeath as follows: -
(1) To my sister Mary the sum of one hundred dollars
(2) To my brother Thomas the sum of one hundred dollars
(3) To my executrix hereinafter named the sum of one hundred dollars to be expended for masses for the repose of my soul.
(4) All the rest and residue of my estate of every nature and kind both real and personal to my niece Sarah Downey.
I appoint my said niece Sarah Downey executrix of this my will
St. John's Jany 24 1905 Alice her X mark Madigan
Signed by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses (The same having been first read over and explained)
