This name is spelled Allice ans Alice in the will and Alice in the will index

In the name of God Amen. I Allice Eagan of Kilkenny Ireland but now of St. John’s Newfoundland being sound in mind and intellect but feeble and weak in body, do make this my last will and testament in the following manner That is to say I bequeath my soul to God my body to the earth and all my worldly effects to be sold and the proceeds of which to defreay the expences of her weak and funeral in a reasonable and dacent manner and a part of the proceed to be given for Masses for her soul as more fully described at foot, her little effects as follows, 1 feather bed (her own) £4..0. 1 bed stead “1..10. 1 new pair blankets “ 1..1.. 1 feather bed “ 1..10. 1 feather bed “1..10. 1 table with oil cloth “ .12..0. 2 kitchen tables “ .10..0. 1 small table “ . 5..0. 1 large kitchen grate “ . 15..0, 8 barrels turnips “ 1..12..0 1 stove 12/ 1 clock 30/ “ 2..2..0, 4 yds cloth 8/, 1..12..0. I do bequeath to my niece Mary Ryan my bed curtens and my box And after my wekk and funeral expenses being paid its my wish to have twenty pounds given to the Church for Masses for my soul to be given to young Father O’Donnell for Masses for her soul And any part remaining to be divided between her nephews Patrick and John Eagan together with any little furniture remaining, I do further appoint Joseph O’Donnell as my executor to put this my last will and testament into effect St. John’s Nfland March 9th 1858.
